Enjoy walking along the East or West promenades, offering sea views, a beach with rock pools and streams next to ochre cliffs, local fishing boats and a RLNI lifeboat station with museum. This seaside town also has the 'Little Theatre', open all year round, seaside gardens with seating, a model boating lake, independent shops, tea rooms, steam railway, golfing, amusement arcades, and fish & chip shops selling locally-caught fish.

This is our third visit and everyone always really enjoys it.. The proximity to the beach, coastal walks, pubs, shops and public transport is perfect for us. The flat is well maintained, clean, comfortable and well equipped and the second floor sitting room spacious with a brilliant view out towards the sea. We hope to return again next year.

Excellent apartment on all counts.. Spacious but still cosy, with incredible sea views. Not just a glimpse of the sea but a panoramic vista. Superb facilities and all very simple to use ie no complicated central heating mechanisms or fancy ovens! Thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

The apartment was much larger than expected.. The upside down arrangement was fun with lots of space and good views from the lounge. All equipment needed was supplied. Beds were comfortable.

The double bed was too uncomfortable to use.. The twin bedroom we had to use had hairs on the carpet. The navy blue throws on thetwin beds were dirty, full of dog hair and marked. The underside of one of the duvet covers had a dirty mark on it, looked like a tea stain. It was a great location and it was very well equipped.

This was such a lovely, comfortable apartment.. The décor & furnishings are tasteful & well-thought out; the sitting room was especially good: great sea view and a telescope! The beds were very good too.The location is excellent. This is definitely on the 'return' list!

My apologies for the late feedback regarding my stay at Victoria Court, Sheringham, Norfolk in March this year.. I did however leave feedback in the comments book at the property itself. The stay at the property exceeded my expectations on all levels. Both Sykes staff and the owner of the property couldn't do enough to ensure my stay was comfortable and safe as I was on my own for most of the trip with my dog Murphy. The apartment was very secure, welcoming, comfortable, warm and very well stocked throughout with a couple of nice touches added in too. The quality of the bed linen and towels were excellent as was the beds. The shower was perfect and plenty of hot water on tap! The sea view from the apartment was lovely and although I stayed there during the return of the 'beast from the east' storm with very strong (cold) winds and rain, it was great to be able to view the sea changing throughout the day and evening with the comfort of a warm, cosy apartment and upstairs fire which heated the upstairs quite quickly indeed. I would have no hesitation staying at this property again and am hoping to book a short break very soon, subject to availability! I have already recommended this property to family and friends. Once again thank you to Sykes for going the extra mile to ensure my stay was complete. I have too recommended your organisation to friends and family. Much appreciated, Linda & Murphy

There were a number of minor problems, such as the heating didn't initially work (fixed by owner on 2nd day) and the upstairs was hard to keep warm as the downstairs thermostat kept kicking it off as soon as the downstairs was warm.. The TV was a pain to use as it was too complicated and the DVD player jumped / froze whenever we tried to use it. The kitchen was also very small for a 6 bed house, and there was only one proper sofa for 6 people! We feel we paid a premium price and expected a better standard of accommodation for the cost.

Loved this apartment especially the upstairs living area and the sea views.. Nice quiet area and only a short walk along the esplanade into town. We did find the bedroom and bed a bit small. I think it would be great for a family but more than two adults would struggle with bedroom space and bathroom. We intend to book this again in the future.

The location of this apartment is great for walking, public transport,pubs and restaurants.. No need to use a car. We loved the view of the ever changing sea. The apartment feels spacious and has an excellent, straight forward heating system, so felt cosy and welcoming. We are hoping to return in the near future.
