We have just been in Flat 4 and Flat 7 The Salcombe - and once again enjoyed our holiday in both flats - but very disappointed about all the building works happening - whilst we appreciate maintenance has to happen -and we think the reception area and corridors are lovely - surely many of the jobs should have been done in the winter months - not June - also the building works which are happening In Flat 6 leave the area unsightly for Flat 7 - which by the way desperately needs the windows cleaning and also a drain outside patio door to flat 7 is probably full of builders debris and was constantly overflowing - we still love Salcombe though and the position of The Salcombe but just feel that some if the works we encounted should have been completed earlier
