The bedrooms consist of two king-sizes, one with en-suite shower room, serviced by a ground-floor bathroom. Outside there is an enclosed rear garden with gravelled area, furniture, and parking. Within 0.4 miles or less you will find a shop and a pub, and within 2.6 miles, a lake, and please note this is a smoke-free property. Two well-behaved dogs welcome. Higham is a delightful village settled into Derbyshire, with great access to the Peak District National Park. The village offers a local pub, The Greyhound, as well as a convenience store, and you can find more amenities, eateries, and pubs at Alfreton, as well as Alfreton Park. There are many places to visit close to the village, including the bustling city of Sheffield, ideal for a shopping trip or watching a football match. Guests can also visit Matlock with its independent shops, pubs, and Lumsdale Waterfall walks, Matlock Bath where you can find an aquarium, arcades, the Heights of Abraham, and riverside walks, Bakewell with its pretty shops and eateries, and attractions such as National Trust - Hardwick Hall, Bolsover Castle, and Chatsworth House. The village is ideally situated for exploring the incredible Peak District National Park, offering climbing, hiking, watersports activities, mountain biking trails, and birdwatching opportunities.
