The attractive village of Ingleton is nestled beneath Ingleborough, one of the famous 'Three Peaks' on the western edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Offering a wide range of shops, pubs and places to eat, the winding streets of this pretty village all converge on a central market place. A mile outside of Ingleton and down the Hawes road are the well known White Scar Caves. Open to the public, these caves display a huge number of caverns full of stalactites and stalagmites, with one cave home to a huge underground lake. The superb 'Falls Walk' offers an interesting circuit which takes in some of the impressive cascading waterfalls of the area whilst the proximity to both the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake distract make this an excellent place for walkers.

I have nothing but positives from my stay here. As soon as we entered the apartment, it felt so homely and not to mention the lovely treats that Stephanie had baked and for just a small charge they cooked us a lovely lasagne that was ready for us when we arrived which was great as we had a long day of travelling. They had put a few essentials in the kitchen (tea, milk, etc) which really helped as we didn't have to rush out to get supplies and could settle in. It has a co-op just a few minutes walk away and there are a variety of pubs so you don't have to go to far to find food. Plus being easily able to go on lovely walks from Ingleton. Mark and Stephanie were amazing, communicated with us at point of booking and once we arrived they made sure we knew that should a problem arise whilst we were staying there, they were only a call away. A fab little gem of a holiday apartment and you would not be dissapointed if you stayed here. 100% will be coming back, maybe when there's a bit less rain but that still didn't dampen our holiday!

Have just returned from staying at this apartment and it was fantastic. I have been visiting the Dales for many years and this is by far the best accommodation I have ever stayed in. Really comfortable beds and furniture just what you need when you have been out walking all day. the apartment had everything you could wish for. Could find nothing amiss. Great location. Owners really good with communication and to top it all off cakes and biscuits await for your arrival. This is a keeper.

Spent a lovely week at 3 Old Laundry Mews. Arrived to find a variety of provisions including milk in the fridge and delicious home baked cakes which were very welcome! The apartment was spotlessly clean and very well maintained. It always felt cosy and warm despite the cold weather. Communication with Mark and Stephanie was excellent throughout and it was very reassuring to know that they were on hand to answer any queries, had they arisen. The apartment is the perfect base to explore the Yorkshire Dales. Would highly recommend for anyone seeking a real 'home away from home'.

My friend and I loved staying here for the week. It is a home from home with everything you could ask for. Mark and Stephanie are extremely helpful, cake was excellent and all the helpful messages about. Beds very comfy and a lovely powerful shower. Ingleton is an ideal base for Yorkshire and The Lakes. Ingleton Waterfalls and White Scar Caves are a must. I will be returning.

The accommodation is first class and the extras such as fresh flowers, treats, and home baked products was an added bonus.. The owners, Mark and Stephanie had really thought of everything needed for a relaxing stay. Information about the local area was very well documented. It was a real pleasure to stay in such a comfortable apartment. Thank you
June 2019
This is our 2nd time of staying at this apartment as we were so impressed with our stay last year , the owners keep in touch from start of booking to make sure that everything is just right for you .The welcome pack is all home made cake & biscuits along with tea coffee etc .It is one of the best equipped places we have stayed in with so much information supplied about the surrounding area . The apartment is kept spotlessly clean, we do not feel the the need to pre-wash the plates & cutlery as we do in so many places we have stayed in.This is an ideal place to stay for exploring the local area

As described the apartment is a home from home, very nice touches eg milking the fridge fresh cakes all make that bit of difference.. Great location for the village and for walking.

Excellent value for money.. The owners go above and beyond to ensure an excellent stay. They decorated our young daughter’s bedroom door, left cakes (suitable for my allergy that I had mentioned in previous correspondence) and age appropriate toys in the apartment. They even left blankets for the little one to play on since there are wooden floors throughout. The property was spotlessly clean. The kitchen was well equipped and had essentials e.g. coffee, milk, oil, washing up liquid and good instructions left on how to use the appliances. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. I cannot praise it enough, we will hope to return.
February 2019
Great place to stay in the Dales, Mark & Stephanie couldn't do more to make your stay perfect if they tried. Great communication throughout from our booking till the morning we left. We will definitely be booking again in the near future for another trouble free stay in the Dales. The accommodation had everything you would require while away from home. Great village we have being going for years and will continue to do so. We found the best pub for food was The Masons on the New Road, The Wheatsheaf was ok but found The Three Horseshoes & The Craven Heifer well below average.

January 2019
The apartment was immaculate and we were made to feel very welcome with personal touches such as home baked goodies and also age-appropriate toys and personalised setup of our daughters room.. Would recommend.
December 2018
The accommodation was first class for location, cleanliness and facilities, it was obvious that Mark & Steph the owners want their guests to enjoy their stay as much as the guests themselves.. They were very helpful without being intrusive. The welcoming pack and treats were a lovely thoughtful gesture. We enjoyed a great week of walking and even though the weather could have been better, it was lovely to return to such a relaxing place. We would not hesitate to recommend this apartment, which is one of the best that we have stayed in.

We spent 4 nights at 3 Old Laundry Mews and thoroughly enjoyed it.. The owners have provided a comfortable, clean and extremely well furnished and equipped home from home. Stephanie and Mark had been really thoughtful in providing welcoming drinks, milk, a selection of homemade biscuits and other sweet treats. Our 6 year old was delighted to find books and toys appropriate to his age and a bedroom door decorated with his name when we arrived. In addition as we arrived on 31 October the apartment had been decorated with a few Halloween items which again was perfect for us and our son. We hadn't been to the area for many years and had forgotten how beautiful it is. We had a lovely, relaxing stay in a lovely place and will be looking to return for a longer break next time.

October 2018
Very lovely place to stay.. The homemade cookies where like an extra touch. The Cottage was very clean and was above our expectations. Its really hard to compare pictures with the Cottage and not knowing the area due to living in the USA, however the flat was so much better then the pictures. It was cozy and very comfortable with all the things needed in the kitchen to make a nice meal. We highly recommend this place to stay.

October 2018
The flat (apartment if you are posh) was brilliant.. VERY clean and everything you could have wanted and more. Spacious too. There were three of us and we had no problem with the flat. If I had to pick anything negative it would have been the tin opener was not working, but that's nothing to complain about, mine at home doesn't work either !! There is parking very near to door too for loading and unloading. Good base for our three peaks walk. Great and would definitely recommend the place and would go back. Great central to local pubs and cafes and shops etc. Had to send food back in Craven Heifer pub as it looked like it had been served three times over but they didn't quibble and gave money back immediately.
Mr Stefanovic

Number 3 Old Laundry Mews is a modern flat furnished to a high standard, in a convenient position in the village of Ingleton, which is ideally located for exploring the Yorkshire Dales, especially the Three Peaks area of Pen-y-Ghent, Ingleborough and Whernside.. The owners of the flat, Mark and Stephanie, are extremely helpful, making access to the flat very easy, whatever time one arrives. In the flat they left some home-made cakes and biscuits, tea, coffee, milk and sugar and (if required) Stephanie will make a meal and leave it ready, when you arrive. We really felt that they could not have been more helpful. We recommend the flat without any reservation. Ingleton is a delightful village, with two Co-op supermarkets (one only 200 yards from the flat), a selection of other shops, three pubs, two Indian Take-Aways and an Italian restaurant, plus several tea shops. [Could one ask for more ?] We got out walking each day and explored areas that we had visited in past years, plus a few new ones.

August 2018
This modern 1st floor Apartment pleasantly exceeded our expectations with it being very clean , roomy and well equipped and we would not hesitate in recommending it to our family and friends .. This was our first visit to the dales and the lovely village of Ingleton was recommended to us by a friend who visits the dales regularly , with many attractions nearby to visit rain or shine.

August 2018
This was an absolutely fantastic experience! The owners were extremely helpful (without being intrusive) and even phoned me on my second day to let me know the Flying Scotsman was passing that day. The little treat (homemade biscuits and cakes) on arrival were a lovely touch and they were devoured hungrily. The actual apartment was perfect - comfortable, very well equipped with games and LOADS of local information and lists of walks and spotlessly clean. I really cannot fault 3 Laundry Mews and will be up again next year (please don't be booked up!) to get away from the hustle and bustle of London next year. Beautiful area - perfect for exploring the Dales and walking (I 'did' Ingleborough - yeah!) or exploring the local caves and wildlife. The villages is lovely - picturesque but with everything the need, including lots a really good pub with great food. A perfect three days, made special by the extras supplied by Mark and Stephanie. Thank you. John, Teacher from London

We were let down at the last minute and were unable to go to destination we wanted but Sykes found us this amazing flat in a different location.. As the owners Mark and Stephanie only knew of our arrival the day before we were extremely pleased with the effort they made to accommodate us. They kept in contact by e-mail, text and phone calls and explained exactly what we needed to know in detail to make everything run smoothly. The flat has a lovely layout with a large lounge/diner and 2 good sized bedrooms. It was immaculately clean and had all the necessary things you could ask for to make life easy when away on holiday and included a supply of teabags, coffee, sugar, milk etc. The homemade biscuits on our arrival were delicious and a lovely gesture. We found the noticeboard very useful with local information and a folder with details of various places to explore which was very handy as we did not have anytime to research the surrounding area. We would recommend this flat to anyone as it goes beyond expectations.

The perfect base for doing the three peaks. The flat was equipped with everything we needed and the owners were very helpful.
July 2018
From the start of booking everything went smoothly the owners kept in touch to make sure everything was in place for our needs. Key collection details were clear and precise as were the directions for the flat easy to find. The flat itself was spotlessly clean, it was really well equipped, over and above what you would expect for a holiday rental , with many quality fittings. The welcome pack was very nice, home made biscuits, cheesecake, milk etc;,the owners also left a supply of tea ,sugar coffee. There was everything you could want and should really bring yourself. This is a first class flat that is situated in a really central location for visiting the Dales.Would highly recommend but please don't go when i want to book again next year

The owners of 3 Laundry Mews were in contact at start of booking to check up making sure everything was ok with our booking details, they contacted me again just prior to booking to confirm key details (very clear and straightforward).. The flat was spotlessly clean and very well equipped the owners have gone over and above what is expected of a holiday rental, too much to mention , the welcome pack was really nice all home made biscuits and cheesecake, milk, tea , coffee etc,all different kinds. the location is perfect for exploring the Yorkshire Dales . We would recommend this flat to anyone staying in this area, they will not be disappointed .

The owners Mark and Stephanie provide a delightful welcome pack of tea, coffee, milk and an assortment of home made cakes, tea bread etc. The flat is situated on the edge of the village but within easy walking distance of all the local amenities. We will strongly consider booking again and will certainly recommend this property to friends.

My wife and I were blown away with the standard of this flat, the very best we have ever stayed in. The village itself is just so attractive and all the amenities, village shops, cafes, pubs are within easy walking distance so the car can be left safely parked in its' own allotted space at the rear of the flat. There is a beautiful little park with seats near the swimming pool and very convenient spotless toilet facilities. As a base for touring the surrounding area it is well placed and we can recommend it highly.

This flat was absolutely fabulous in every way - we could not fault it and the owners Mark and Stephonie had gone out of their way in providing welcoming cookies, sweets, tea/coffee, and flowers, and even invited us round to their house one evening to sit with them in their garden and have a chat over coffee and cakes.. All in all, this was the very best self catering accommodation we have ever stayed in and we rate it 100% in all the tick boxes.

The owners made us feel extremely welcome with the little touches of the decorations and what they did for our little boys room.. The location was ideal with lots to do in Ingleton and we were easily able to get across to the Lake District. Couldn't ask for more especially being away from family and friends at Christmas. Although the apartment was on the first floor our 3 year old had no issues with the stairs. Great holiday great apartment great location.

Old Laundry Mews is a modern, spotlessly clean and beautifully presented 1st floor apartment in Ingleton.. It is very well equipped and in particular the kitchen-ware is excellent; it even has a tea-pot cosy. A supply of homemade cakes and jam, and some "get you started" basics were waiting for us. The owners live locally and were keen to ensure our stay was trouble free. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and recommend it without hesitation.
Miss Hayes
June 2017
The apartment was very spacious, modern, well equipped and spotlessly clean.. It made a comfortable base to retire to at the end of each day. It was nice to arrive and find homemade cakes, milk, fruit etc. There was plenty of local information available of things to do and where to find things. Mark and Stephanie, the owners kept me well informed prior to my arrival and went that extra mile to make our holiday special by adding extra touches to the apartment tailored specifically to our holiday. Very thoughtful.
Mrs Graham
June 2017
The flat was really lovely, very modern, very clean, spacious and had everything we required.. The Owners left some home made biscuits, cakes and a dessert etc which was a lovely touch. It is one the best holiday homes we have stayed in and we have been in quite a few. I would certainly recommend it to anyone. It was just a short walk to the village centre where there were several shops and places to eat. Overall we had a good holiday and do hope to come back.
Mrs Holmes
June 2017
Lovely spacious apartment.. Spotlessly clean. Loved the home-made cakes on arrival. Our 3 year old daughter was made to feel very special with her own "craft tray", toys and even her name on her bedroom door! The apartment has all you would need plus many extra touches. Ingleton centre is only a few minutes walk away and provides an excellent chip shop, curry house, corner shop, pubs etc. We would love to return.

April 2017
This property was SO clean, it was a privilege to stay.. This property is perfect - superbly located for exploring the Yorkshire Dales yet with many attractions on your door step. The property it self is immaculately presented and prepared for your stay with personal touches to make you feel especially welcomed, with homemade treats, milk, tea, coffee, even magazines and a local paper all waiting for you. The property was clean (I mean spotless), warm and cosy yet modern. My daughter loved having a TV in her room and the TV in the lounge is big enough to enjoy whilst relaxing on an evening. The bathroom is a pleasure to use, the shower gets a big thumbs up from us. The bedrooms are nice sizes and the open plan lounge area is really great space and a good size too. The kitchen is very well stocked and everything works beautifully. The Wifi works everywhere. The owners have left very clear instructions for everything and there's additional local information, guide books and maps which we found most helpful. The owners met all our needs (and more) despite not actually meeting them, we knew they were just a phone call, text or email away. We absolutely loved it here and wouldn't hesitate recommending it.
Mr Jones
April 2017
Lovely 4 night break for a young family.. We really appreciated our hosts going above and beyond our expectations. On arrival we were welcomed with baked goods, essentials and lots of toys hidden around the property for our little boy to find. Our hosts had thought of everything, even as far as a fun child towel. We had a wonderful relaxed holiday with easy access to lots of activities in the local area.
Mrs Ward
March 2017
We had seen the photos on the Sykes Cottages website and chose the apartment (3 Old Laundry Mews) as it looked good.. We were shocked at the sheer size of the open plan lounge and kitchen area as it was much bigger and the photos didn’t do it justice. Everything was there, a home from home environment, and all of quality not what you would expect for holiday accommodation. We never actually met the owners but did talk/text/email them and felt all our needs had definitely been met. We felt comfortable because we felt they trusted us with their property whilst providing quality accommodation. The basic intermediate necessities were provided including milk, tea, sugar, toilet rolls etc. As a lovely bonus there was homemade cake and biscuits to welcome us when we arrived and they were scrumptious. The apartment was so homely, comfortable and clean we actually ate in each evening ensuring that we ate healthily whilst gaining plenty of exercise and fresh air in the surrounding areas of Ingleton and the Yorkshire Dales during the day. Not many holidays leave you feeling felling fit and refreshed as our long weekend in Ingleton did. We will definitely revisit in the future and we have already recommended this property to our family/friends and acquaintances.
