This Cottage has perfect views, so peaceful and just so enjoyable to stay in.. Its very cosy, clean and plenty of facilities. This cottage is my perfect retirement home! after doing lovely walks so lovely to come back and enjoy everything about this cosy cottage. Our dog also just loves to sit in the garden too.

The cottage location was excellent for exploring Northumberland.. The cottage was clean and tidy but the sofa's were a little "worn out" and could do with replacing. The cottage was shabby chique and the kitchen had every implement you would ever need!

Warm and cosy and well equipped.. A very quiet location with good views. Fuel for fire provided for first night only. Overall a fantastic base for exploring the wonderful local area.

Lovely location in a cottage which is obviously a well loved holiday home, not just the standard holiday rental.. It was very comfy and had everything we could possibly need - even in a rather cold November. Good food available in a few locations close by, all of which offer free wifi and don't mind you using a laptop there. There's a decent mobile signal, so we didn't miss having wifi at the cottage at all! Would definitely come again if we plan another holiday in the area.

The cottage was very well equipped and was well located.. It was also very homely and cosy. We enjoyed lighting a lot fire in the evenings. The owners seemed to have thought of everything. We hope to stay again.

Beautiful cottage in a quiet location with lovely views front and back.. The garden was secure for our dogs and was a pleasant place to sit. The cottage was very clean and had all we required and the owner was contactable and very helpful. Well maintained for the age of the cottage and the upstairs and kitchen has been refurbished. Living room furniture is a little tired and the bathroom door needs some attention but apart from that it was a lovely place to stay. Plenty to see in the area and good places to eat out.

The cottage is in a great location, quiet and peaceful.. The living room is lovely light and spacious, great for relaxing after a full day out. The bedrooms are light and airy and pleasantly decked out. The double bed was most comfortable. A great base for exploring. We highly recommend a visit to St. Abbs. Great viewpoint. Just below the National Trust car park you will find a good cafe and a fabulous and unique art gallery with unique one off paintings and pottery. A must. We left with several great pieces. Eyemouth Harbour with its resident seals and the pub the Contented Sole is worth a visit. Do visit the Smokehouse at Craster and be sure to eat at the Jolly Fisherman. Bamburgh Castle is ever imposing and impressive, a must, as is Holy Island and the wonderful mead shop! A beautiful part of the world. We shall return.

This cottage is so cosy and relaxing and the area so peaceful and the views out of the windows are beautiful.. Again we all enjoyed our stay and didn't want to leave, this cottage is my ideal retirement home. Our dog loved to sit in the sun by the French doors each day and he was sad to leave. Thank you again for a lovely stay and will be back next year!
