The cottage is in a great location, quiet and peaceful.. The living room is lovely light and spacious, great for relaxing after a full day out.
The bedrooms are light and airy and pleasantly decked out. The double bed was most comfortable. A great base for exploring. We highly recommend a visit to St. Abbs. Great viewpoint. Just below the National Trust car park you will find a good cafe and a fabulous and unique art gallery with unique one off paintings and pottery. A must. We left with several great pieces. Eyemouth Harbour with its resident seals and the pub the Contented Sole is worth a visit. Do visit the Smokehouse at Craster and be sure to eat at the Jolly Fisherman. Bamburgh Castle is ever imposing and impressive, a must, as is Holy Island and the wonderful mead shop! A beautiful part of the world. We shall return.
