The property was exceptionally clean and beautifully presented.. The parking was well explained and proved easy to deal with. The bedding was very luxurious and all furniture immaculate. It was very easy to feel at home. Overall a great location. On the down side the stone floors and almost entire lack of carpet meant that any noise carried through the whole house. The main (and at first most disconcerting) one of these was the boiler. It worked efficiently but made an incredible amount of noise. The other main draw back was that we could only find one decent saucepan, one frying pan and one stewpot. We did expect to find more given that the kitchen itself was small but reasonably well equipped and that self catering was our main reason for booking.

We had a lovely time at Eddystone cottage.. It’s small but perfectly formed and had everything we needed. The cottage was the perfect base for us to explore the Camel trail and there are some amazing beaches within a short drive.

A little gem in the centre of Wadebridge within walking distance of all amenities. The cottage was cosy, very clean and modern .. just right for us. The owners had certainly taken the trouble to make this an ideal rental and were really good at giving information about the cottage and the local area. We loved the Camel Trail and the surrounding villages and coastal areas. Thank you so much!

Excellent holiday home! would heartily recommend to anyone, parking could be an issue as wadebridge is a very busy town and being disabled, was hard to park close enough to cottage ,but had words with no 1 and he let me park on his land !great chap ! the cottage was lovely !but as in all homes two issues, though not to serious to worry anyone about, was the front door key was very hard to extricate from lock on opening front door!does need looking into ! the other maybe a bit more serious was the lack of any grab rails for entering or exiting the bath, the bath is deep and defiantly needs support!not an expensive fix ,but to prevent accidents are needed! otherwise a good company to deal with and we will be booking again soon !well done !

We had a lovely week at Eddystone Cottage with our 9 month old daughter. The cottage is beautifully decorated, and in an ideal location for exploring the Camel Trail. The weather was incredible and very hot, but the cottage remained blissfully cool inside! Extremely helpful owners too. Would recommend!

We (2 adults and an 11 year old) spent a week in Eddystone Cottage in August 18. The cottage itself is charming, well decorated, clean, well arranged and easy to live in. A wood burner has been installed and was primed to go - great when the weather turns cold. A couple of minutes walk to the Camel Trail to Padstow and bike hire. Good Thai restaurant in town. What is there not to like?

We fell in love with this cottage as soon as we walked through the door. It has been lovingly refurbished to an exceptionally high standard with many thoughtful touches and spotlessly clean. Whilst it can't boast a view, there is plenty of outdoor space in the form of a lawned garden at the front of the cottage. Local shops, bars and restaurants are literally a minute's walk away as is the river. The cottage is right on the Camel Trail so very handy for anyone wanting to cycle. I would maybe hesitate to recommend this to anyone with limited mobility as the stairs are steep and narrow (as you would expect of a cottage of this age) and the bathroom is on the ground floor. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this fabulous little cottage.
