Mr Sandy
October 2020
This cottage is perfect for us, spacious and comfortable, and, we like birdwatching.. It is a stones-throw from a pebble beach that is habitat for numerous waders, geese etc.. Supermarkets and pub 2 miles away. On Anglesey nothing is too far away, and there are numerous beautiful bays to visit. And very scenic countryside. One tiny thing..on the directions it says turn right at the Kayak shop. This is our second visit and we haven't seen a kayak shop. I think that shop is now.. Warmer Brothers Studio. A heating appliance shop.

We have visited this cottage twice before so knew what to expect.. It’s perfect for us.
Mrs Poupard, August 2019
June 2019
The only disappointment we found was that the beach a few minutes walk away was not possible with a wheelchair.. It was via a grass and stone path with several steps at the end and the beach consisted of large stones. As we book holidays that give access to a beach this was a shame.
Mrs Owen, June 2019
June 2019
It is spacious and well-equipped but the property needed to be cleaned properly ie.. kitchen & bathroom wiped-down and other rooms dusted, not just hoovered. The sofa and chairs in the lounge were very old and getting thread-bare in places. The front door and garage doors looked ancient and in need to replacement. Access to the rear garden being via the main bedroom was also a poor feature.

Lovely quiet setting and very nice comfortable bungalow with a superb shower Perhaps needs a little spruce up with such things as the information pack.. No Dvd player which was a little disappointing Overall a great base to stay, ideal for visiting the North West of Anglesey

Great quiet and friendly location and cosy property.. Lots of amenities close by. Easy stroll to the pebbled beach and 5 min drive to several shops. The property owners were very helpful as were Sykes customer services prior to our visit. Would stay there again.

Very enjoyable.. Directions could be better and kept up to date. If a property has a name on the booking details, then it should have a name actually on the property. The property was spacious and tidy, and on Anglesey you are never too far from anywhere. Local supermarket and pubs close by. It was Ideal for us as we both birdwatch. The shingle/ mudflats were 1 minute from the door, with a good variety of bird-life.. very good!!

Loved this location.. So easy for exploring and so much to see. Wonderful walks nearby and the nature was incredible. Just like to say we like to cook but the kitchen knives were a bit blunt, will visit again but will bring a steel

All holidays start with the accomodation In this case the cottage exceeded all expectations, clean spacious and located in the perfect spot for discovering the rest of the island, three mins walking distance from the break water beach 6 mins by car to Holyhead and all the major stores i.. E. Tesco, Morrisons B& M. The old ferry terminal were you can watch the ferries come in while you are relaxed doing a spot of fishing which was the purpose of this holiday We will be back again.Thank you to the owners Rev Jane and Tom for making our stay memorable

We were disappointed with some of the cleaning.. The t.v. was covered in fingerprints we had to clean it also window in the kitchen needed cleaning. A few of the mirrors had marks on them the small freezer in the kitchen was absolutely full of ice we had to defrost it before we could use it.

We've just returned from a week at Arwelfa (2 adults plus a 14 year old son), located in Valley, Anglesey and would rate it very highly in comparison to other UK holiday cottages we've stayed at previously. The location is excellent - literally a stone's throw from the beach - ideal for early morning walks and close to other beaches like Trearddur Bay, Rhoscolyn, Rhosneigr and Newborough Forest. Additionally, there are plenty of other non-beach attractions within easy distance. The bungalow itself is spacious, comfortable and very well equipped, with a nice big kitchen and all mod cons; smart HD television, 2 x fridges, washing machine, dishwasher, tumble dryer and deep freeze (latter two in the garage). The neighbours are friendly, the area is quiet and the local village plenty of amenities. I'd recommend this property very highly.

October 2016
The holiday accommodation exceeded our expectations.. It was one of the most comfortable ,warm, and well equipped places we have stayed in . The wifi and separate bedrooms for the boys was well received. The owners were friendly and informative. To top it all the weather was kind to us which enabled us to see Anglesey at its best. Will definately book the property again , and take my mother.

September 2016
Nice location near many attractions, the bungalow was very spaceous, Quite and nice to park car at front door, about 3miles to nearest supermarkets, and a very nice Marston pub, but in the vilage there was plenty of pubs and a chinees, we enjoyed touring the Anglesea for the first time and visiting museums and met many friendly people, made welcome where we went..

The property was ideal and us both being disabled gave us the advantage of having a bedroom each. The location and sea view was a bonus. We would definitely love to go back there again if our health allows us. The beds were so comfortable we did not want to get up in a morning. Once again great property.

This property was in very good condition. Situated close to numerous attractions and beauty spots with gorgeous views such as Llandudno. One criticism if I must is the TV is too small for the size of room. The furnishings were very comfortable and the King size bed a dream. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would recommend this property.
