There is a spacious dining room with table and chairs to sit and enjoy meals together plus a sofa and a wood burning stove. The comfortable sitting room has a TV/DVD player and French doors opening into the courtyard. First Floor On the first floor is a good-size bedroom with a king size bed, chest of drawers and built-in wardrobes. There is a small study, an ideal spot to sit and read. The charming house bathroom has a free-standing roll top bath, shower attachment, WC and hand wash basin. Second Floor On the second floor is a twin bedroom with an en-suite shower room with a shower, WC and hand wash basin. Outside The pretty enclosed courtyard is planted with tubs and climbers for colour plus there's outside seating - this relaxing area is perfect for enjoying the first cuppa of the day or an evening pre-dinner glass of wine before cooking or going out to sample one of the many superb restaurants, all within easy walking distance.

The ancient fishing port of Whitby lies at the mouth of the River Esk and is ideally situated for exploring this beautiful part of Yorkshire, with its superb coastline and close proximity to the spectacular North York Moors. Whitby is a charming and atmospheric town of winding streets and hidden alleys, with a picturesque harbour, safe sandy beaches and of course the Abbey, reached by the famous 199 steps.
