Self-Catering Reviews

September 2018
Generally the property was superb.. The shower was adequate but not brilliant due to being fed from the hot and cold water taps in the bath. It was difficult to control the temperature of the water. The bathroom was a long way from the bedrooms with a number of flights of stairs having to be negotiated in the night. Corris was a lovely little village and people were very friendly. Craft centre, Corris railway, Slaters Arms, shop and Church well worth visiting.

A manual to explain how to use various things eg boiler and recycling waste would have been helpful.. It wasn’t clear where to dry clothes. Overall, we had a lovely stay, it was a very comfortable and pleasant place to stay with tremendous views, lovely bit outside in the garden to sit and take it all in

Very comfortable and spacious.. Bathroom, bedrooms and lounge all well furnished and had everything one would need. Kitchen spacious but could do with re-equipping in certain areas - not enough pans, some of which were burnt out and unusable. Poor knives.

Fantastic views, loved watching the RAF planes on the Mach loop and listening to the lambs between.. A very comfortable home away from home - will definitely go back.
