It was frustrating not knowing beforehand that we couldn't use the gardens with our dog and had to completely take them off the premises at least twice a day.. I appreciate the reasons why, but I think people should be made aware of this as it doesn't make the property completely dog friendly. Also we couldn't access the back garden directly from the property as this was through the garage which was inaccessible. We had to go out the front and through next door's side gate We couldn't find any information on where recycling bins were in fact a neighbour took ours, or where general refuse bins were

2 Dalegarth is a charming Terraced two Bed property in the village of Buckden.. Village amenities include a small village shop and Pub. There are some wonderful walks right on the doorstep that take you to the top of Buckden Pike or a stroll along the river banks to the nearby villages of Starbottom or Kettlewell, all just perfect for dog walkers. Dalegarth offers parking for two average cars on the driveway. While the cottage is very well presented in both the overall cleanliness and the quality of the furniture provided I would like to see a washer installed. As the weather was not kind to us during our holiday We would certainly have found it very useful. All in all this is a fantastic cottage for that perfect get away. Looking forward to a return visit.

2 Dalegarth is a gem situated in the lovely area of Upper Wharfedale.. The cottage is perfect. It is modern, well furnished and clean. Buckden is a small village with a shop and a pub, The Buck Inn. Just over a mile away is another wonderful pub in Hubberholme called The George. 2 Dalegarth offers plenty of varied walks from the door. If you like peace and quiet among stunning scenery in a well presented cottage this is the place for you.

2 Dalegarth is an outstanding cottage.. It is situated in the lovely Dales village of Buckton, a few minutes walk from the beautiful riverside paths by the River Wharfe. It is a modern, warm and comfortable cottage with two double bedrooms. There is parking for two cars and the cottage is very clean and comfortable.

We had a really lovely Christmas at Dalegarth.. The accommodation more than met expectations. It was warm and comfortable, a home from home. We were amazed to find a fully decorated Christmas tree in the sitting room which really made it feel festive. The views are stunning. We had a lovely week away and look forward to repeating it.

Comfortable, well equipped, pet friendly, home from home comforts and in such a beautiful part of the Dales. Great for walkers, ramblers, mountain bikers and families, there really is something for everyone. Great local pubs in Hubberholme, Starbotton and Kettlewell and loads of local attractions. Our favourite, a visit to the Wensleydale Creamery in Hawes. Come, relax, unwind and get back to nature. You really won't regret it!!

The vicinity to great walking and scenery. There are ones right from the front door but also throughout Wharfedale and over to Wensleydale. We also made it to Muker in Swaledale (about 45 mins by car).

The location of the cottage was faultless and the village nice and peaceful. The area is excellent for walking which we like and there were some very good pubs locally for bar meals. The cottage was in a small cul-de-sac complex which itself was very quiet. There were plenty of local attractions and the use of the facilities at Long Ashes leisure park were particularly welcome. The cottage was warm and welcoming as was our Easter stay. We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Loved the location. The walks around the cottage meant that I only got the car out twice. The pub in the village did excellent food and the village shop came in handy for milk etc. All of the locals were very friendly.
