First floor apartment. Two bedrooms: 1x Double with en suite shower room, 1x Twin. Family bathroom. Open plan kitchen/dining/lounge.

Area
The picturesque fishing village of Hope Cove lies in a sheltered bay on South Devon’s coastline, offering superb views over Bigbury Bay and Burgh Island. A choice destination for families, two beaches offer soft sand for sandcastle building, plus rock pools great for entertaining children. The town remains a fishing village where crabs and lobsters are still landed, however it was once used by smugglers. Many ships have perished around the coast and the wrecks that lie beneath the waves make it a popular spot for divers. Above the beach there are a number of pubs and restaurants, including the popular café bar ‘The Cove’. The coastal footpath can be joined from here and leads towards the sandy beaches of Thurlestone and Bigbury-on-Sea in one direction, and the sailing town of Salcombe in the other.

Region
Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?

Booked a week in delightful Hope Cove after lock down. Unfortunately the apartment is right next door to the village pub with its outside terrace and balcony so there is noise all day long. The bedroom looks straight onto the pub kitchen so you don't get any respite there, while you can hear everything from the other apartments above and next door. The guest book is full of similar comments, including a suggestion that the pub will be quiet if you ask them. Try doing that on a busy Saturday night!!! We had to leave after 2 nights of broken sleep If you're coming to Hope Cove to party, this apartment would be great. If you want a peaceful break in one of the country's most beautiful seaside villages, this is best avoided. You can't even see the sea, let alone hear it above the din of the pub.

We spent Christmas in Hope Cove, This apartment is very spacious and very comfortable. it is also very clean and furnished to a high standard and very well maintained. The main bed was so comfortable. I would definitely like to come back and would definitely recommend it . It is perfect for a family of 4 plus dog! There was even a Christmas present for our dog.The beach is less than a minute’s walk and there is a very good cafe/ pub next door which serves food and drink all day and a great breakfast:
