This property was clean and comfortable.. The only reason I would not book this property again was the beds were only doubles, my husband and I slept in separate beds all week! I am sure the top bedroom could fit a super king size bed, which would be more comfortable for sure.

Sliding bathroom door on 1st floor (2 bedroom level) did not work at all.. The door could not be closed; therefore, the room was not used. We paid for a 2-1/2 bath unit and only had a 1-1/2 unit. The repairman came a day late and could not repair the door. He said the track needs to be replaced. We found out that this door did not close prior to our arrival. We are very disappointed in this. We requested and management confirmed that there would be a cot bed for our 1 year old grandchild. There was none. We checked all of the closets and could not find one. We were quite upset over this.

The house was very safe, clean, comfortable, modern and stylish, a wonderful holiday home.. The only negative is the ultra modern Hob there were no instructions, called for help but did not really help, so did not use the hob. For future guests it would be a good idea to put Hob Instructions. Also we could not find the cutlery drawer as it was a hidden drawer Lol. Maybe put a sticker on the drawer for future guests. Besides the above we had a wonderful holiday and would recommend this property.

Our time spent at 18 ocean Heights this summer was one of the best holidays we have had, this was obviously helped by some glorious weather however I must add that this property is in a fantastic location 250meters off of the beech.. The house its self is modern and well equipped with all that you need for a relaxing and comfortable holiday. This house is fortunate in comparison to those on the development as it has larger outside space with a side gate leading to a BBQ area that we enjoyed when we had our evening drinks and which meant that when we returned from the beech that we didn’t have to go through the house to leave our wet and sandy things inside, ready for the next day. To improve this property I would suggest that a umbrella for the patio set would be beneficial and maybe some hooks for wetsuits in the outside store.

The bed in the master bedroom needs a new matress, and is the reason i scored low on comfort.. The springs have completely gone on one side of the bed which makes you feel like you are sleeping on a slope and will fall out meaning we didn't get a good nights sleep. We turned the matress over which helped a bit but would suggest it is replaced. Shower trap in master bedroom needs cleaning as it doesn't drain well. An ideal addition would be an outdide shower in the garden so you can wash sand off from the beach before going into the house. These are just small things to improve on our overall stay was lovely perfect location especially with children as everything is so close, would highly recommended and would stay again

The Townhouse is a lovely house but, they are a few things that can be improved to make it worth the money.. At present we wouldn't stay in this house again at that price, but I do understand we were in peak season. On arrival there was a mountain of rubbish, I expect the dustbins hadn't been emptied for weeks. The wheelie bin was full, the additional seagull proof bag was full plus there was 3 bin bags next to it. We totally understand that all rubbish can not be cleared before the next people arrive, but there was something not right here. It is also not pleasant picking up other peoples rubbish that the seagulls have attacked and pecked out of the bags and pulled down the drive. Anyway we looked up on the council website when they collected waste and put the rubbish out on Monday so it all was collected. There are also no recycling bins so we took ours home, but if guests could recycle this would save space in the main dustbin. Perhaps it would be useful to have a note in the house as to when they collect the rubbish and some separate boxes for recycling? A few items we noticed missing were, for a family a wash basket would be handy and also a colander to drain pasta for kids or veg, Prosecco glasses would be good and a long mirror. The beds were extremely uncomfortable and small and the house so hot that we didn't sleep much the whole week. Other information would be helpful in the welcome pack such as the WIFI code and a manual for the washing machine and oven which I had to look up online. There was someone else's towel hanging on the washing line. The empty equipment cupboard at the back of the garden didn't lock properly so banged in the night, we had to prop this closed. The sliding door to the 1st floor bathroom is so loud and very hard to close so we didn't bother to close it, perhaps it just needs the rails oiling? There is also a small ant problem coming into the hallway perhaps due to all the rubbish outside the property. We did have a lovely holiday, but I hope the owners find this information useful.

The house is arcitecturally well designed, but cheaply built and basic amenities plus basic furniture is desperately missing.. You have to like living in a messy place. Walls also very thin, which was not a problem for us but might be so for other groups. There is a very narrow entrance hall, with no hangers for jackets and coats and no cupboard for shoes. Therefor the entrance area is always messy, and we had to clutter our coats and jackets around the living room sofas - luckily there was no rain in our holiday week! The master bedroom on the second floor has an incredibly narrow bed (we are very slim acutally), and the matress is very cheap and uncomfortable. I never slept so badly on a holiday. There is a very big area for hanging up clothes, but no shelve space for t- shirts, underwear u.s.w. - we ended up organizing our clothes on the floor! - because also the small bedside tables and sideboard with mirror and 3 very tiny decorative drawers provide hardly any space. There is no mirror in the bathroom - and no bin. Actually, there are no bins in the whole 3- floor house, apart from 1 bin in the kitchen! On the second floor there are 2 further bedrooms which provide more cupboard space. The bathroom/ toilet on the first floor has a strange, cheap and very loud sliding door with an unpractical doorhandle. Sometimes people got stuck on the toilet and needed help from outside to open it, which was quite funny, but still, from the price we paid for the house we would have expected basics like functioning door handles. Please, let us know whether you are prepared to refund us for the inpracticalities, since the price of the house seems extortionate in relationship to what is offered. Yours sincerely, Margot Fallon

The accommodation was in a great location, within walking distance of most areas of Newquay.. Tesco Express was just around the corner and one of the many beaches was a 3 minute walk. The house was very clean, modern and comfortable. The only negative was that despite accommodating 6 people (and there were 6 of us) there were only 4 chairs around the dining table and seating for 4 in the lounge. This let down an otherwise perfect house.

This lovely town house is beautifully furnished and has everything you need and more for a 5 star family holiday home. The location was perfect with the town and several beaches right on the doorstep. There is lots to explore with or without the car and it was always great to come back to the house which was so welcoming and well equipped. The beds were comfortable too! We would definitely stay in this house again and have already recommended it to our friends. The owners were very helpful and the communication was great all the way through. Thank you for helping make our holiday so enjoyable.
