This flat is a lovely place to stay, the views are superb.. It has everything you need for a home from home stay. The complimentary wine and chocs is a lovely touch. We will definitely go back again

We were very pleasantly surprised by this apartment - none of the negative things people had said about it now apply - we loved the view of the sea and nice furnishings, I found the sofas a bit too soft for my hip so one upright firmer armchair could be a nice addition.. had a great holiday here and would definitely return

We really loved the flat, it was cosy and comfortable and the location was brilliant, however it was only on reading customer reviews that we realised that there might be an issue with access.. The stairs were extremely steep and narrow and we feel that the description of the property should have highlighted this fact.

No hot water , despite following instructions in the book, tried to telephone the owner but no response Flat is looking tired , bathroom especially needs attention Curtains in bedrooms need to be blackout ones or blinds.. Excessive light from street lighting illuminating the room all night. Mattress on bed in Front bedroom needs replacing, very sagged and uncomfortable. Last set of steps into flat narrow with treads not wide enough for feet, very difficult to navigate and This should be mentioned on website description Flat is advertised as Pet free but there are several pets in the property on lower floor and this should also be mentioned on the website in case someone with an allergy thinks the whole place is Pet free. The communal entrance smells of wet dog and the front door is very difficult to open. This holiday let is not up to Sykes usual excellent style and the comments in the Guest book are being ignored by the owner

We found the rooms a little cold.. The living room would benefit of having a plug in heater, we had to use the hot water bottles and the throws from the beds to keep warm whilst sat in on an evening. Apart from this we really enjoyed our stay, the views were exceptional.

We had a lovely restful week, it was our second stay at 15D the Beach.. We love the views out to see, and especially the beautiful sunrises. We love it's close proximity to the beach and town, and at the end of the day chilling watching Netflix.

Would have liked to put heating on i f required .. On 2 nights it was cold my hubby wrapped in a blanket . and he is also an ex heart patient. over zealous fire alarm couldnt even open cooker door . A blind at top of stairs would be beneficail as it was like a gold fish bowl from back . minimal hot water had to boil kettle to wash up. Fabulous views would stay again but some things need the choice.

Firstly, we found the staircase leading up to the apartment narrow and very steep, descending the staircase was even more challenging, due once again to the steepness of the staircase.. We feel this should have been highlighted more accurately in the description of the apartment. The shower cubicle too small and not particularly clean i.e. seals appeared to be discoloured and the appearance of what looked like mould above the cubicle. An instruction book explaining how to operate the hob & microwave would have been helpful. Regarding the bedrooms, it would have been helpful if extra bedlinnen had been provided, no topsheet on beds, only duvets which proved to be uncomfortable preventing a good nights sleep, given the extreme temperature during our stay. Overall, we feel the general cleanliness of the apartment not up to the expected standard. We have booked with Sykes several times over the past few years and feel that this is not one of their best.

This flat was a really well placed for touring around the area.. Filey though offers so much within the town itself. The flat itself was comfortable and we'll equipped. It does sit on the third floor with stair access only..but that only adds to exercise especially after visiting the many eating places and amazing micro pub. The locals are really friendly too. We will be visiting again .

No issues with booking apartment & information given accurate.. Was very stormy at the coast when we visited & storage heaters weren't really up to job of keeping place warm enough but it is a fabulous setting with picture windows taking in the whole of the beach/sea view, would love to visit again when warmer weather.

It was an excellent flat with brilliant views but the third flight of stairs was really steep!

We loved the holiday flat at the beach.. It's worth the climb to the top floor, the views across the bay and over the sea are stunning. The flat is well situated with everything a short walk away. They say timing is everything and this is true with the parking, as the afternoon an evening wore on there was always a spot to be had, even in June. The large TV with Netflix is a great addition, as is the broadband, it's super fast. But best of all, even on a stormy day is the view, to wake up in a comfy bed listening to the waves crashing in are only superseded by laying in bed watching said waves. We loved our stay and will return soon.
