We have enjoyed everyone of our cottages we have stayed at so far

Moorside was a really nice place to stay.. It was very clean and comfortable and was located in an area which was ideal for exploring Dartmoor and beyond. Would return again. Highly recommended.

We had a great week at Moorside, everything with the house was as described, very clean, very comfortable and well equipped.. Key collection was straight forward and communication with the owner was great. Loved the piano too. We tend not to go to the same place twice as we like trying new places, but if we did, I would definitely stay at Moorside again. Horrabridge is a great location for exploring Dartmoor, and has very good access to cycling and walking routes in the area. The village also has a shop/post office and 2 pubs, only one of which we visited (The Leaping Salmon, which was also excellent) and a lovely little art shop/gallery.

Moorside was ideally located for visits to Dartmoor, both South and North coast of Devon, National Trust properties and towns and cities in the vicinity..

This was the nicest holiday rental house we’ve ever stayed in.. They had thought of everything, so luxurious as well! Would definitely visit Moorside again.

Nice location

Excellent property, I would definitely recommend and am very likely to go back if available when visiting family In Plymouth.. Ideally located for nearby moors and in between Plymouth city and Tavistock town. My only comment is that the garden area is beside and in front of the house, so for children or a dog there is not a door leading onto this directly. Easily overcome however. Just different.

This is an ideally located house for touring the area .. Comfortable and quirky in its layout ,everything you need on a self catering holiday. Excellent local walks and bike trails. Tavistock and the moors on the door step. Lots of very nice places to eat out. Supermarkets and local shops close by. We would definitely use this again as a base when visiting our family in Plymouth.

Very nice house in delightful, extremely quiet village on the western edge of Dartmoor.. Especially large lounge. Well equipped, and, a nice touch, tea and coffee and fresh cut flowers were provided for our arrival. The caretaker, Michael, was very helpful when I had a problem with the oven.

This was a return visit and we weren’t disappointed.. There had been some improvements/updates from last year. The cottage is spacious and very clean. It is in an excellent position; close to the moors and within a few minutes of shops. Local chippy is worth a visit and the village park is super. Thank you.

This was a very well appointed house making it easy to self cater.. It was very comfortably furnished. The weather was very hot but the house was easy to keep fresh, with a good through breeze in the living area when the windows on both sides were open. We were visiting friends locally and had room to invite them over too. The fresh flowers on arrival were a much appreciated gesture. Horrabridge is very conveniently placed for visiting Dartmoor, whether you are interested in the “wild country” or the towns and villages. As we spent time mountain biking the washing machine and clothes line were well used!

It was like walking in to someone’s house, every facility had been catered for.. The place was very clean, furniture and beds new, had an exceptionally large lounge dinning room so could accommodate a family of five easily, so had no complaints or niggles. It was a modern upside house down a very quiet close easy reach for Plymouth or Tavistock.

Comfortable , dog friendly home .. Spacious living area and lovely bathrooms . Location was quiet and peaceful but still within easy reach of Plymouth . The close access to Drake's trail from Horrabridge was helpful and a great way to spend an afternoon walking to Tavistock. Being close to the Moors meant we could explore there but could return home to warm up when needed . Also the local pub and chippie were a delight!.

Really well equipped house.. We particularly liked the dining/lounge area which is spacious and comfortable allowing the children to play. Comfortable beds and a really good location that gave easy access to Dartmoor. Garden was a little smaller than expected but this wasn't an issue to us. We're hoping to return next year for a longer stay.
