Fethard-on-Sea rests on the east of the Hook Peninsula, in the south-west of County Wexford, situated just 5.5. miles away from Duncannon. The small village has a colourful history, including the lifeboat tragedy of 1914, and the Fethard-on-Sea Boycott, which has been immortalised in print and on film. Today, the village plays hosts to a number of shops and pubs, making a great base to enjoy sandy beaches and the Hook Peninsula.
