... and another very comfortable stay in Noble Knott. Not that it was all good. The biggest bugbear was that the wi-fi had a habit of dropping, sometimes for several hours. I say wi-fi but it was the router that kept losing connection. Surprising how annoying it is to be without wi-fi, especially when the weather was a bit rubbish! Anyway, we survived :-) Another problem was that a previous occupant hadn't washed the saucepans very well. Somewhat annoying to start cooking only to find you have to wash crud off a saucepan. Not an issue for the owner I suppose but it hacked me off! Back to the cottage review. As before, great location with a really useful garage to store a mobility scooter. Close to shops and lake, Definitely recommended. Note to owner - maybe a few more teaspoons would be useful :-)

The only issues were it was quite hard to regulate the heating We did try and put it down to 17 as per instructions but the temperature kept going up,couldn't get oven to work for ages, no bin that we could see for recycled items and beds really high In saying this if you are ok for a walk the cottage is ideal for 4 people

Noble Knott had everything we needed for a great week in Keswick.. Clean and easy to warm up, with very comfy beds too. Only a ten minute walk into Keswick with lots of great restaurants and pubs. Couldn't park car on drive due to grounding undercarriage because of steepness of drive in relation to road. Apart from that downside, we had a great time and would come back again.

The driveway is only suitable for vehicles with either a short wheelbase or a large ground clearance.. There is the possibility of damage occurring to the underside of vehicles using the driveway. A clock in the lounge would be useful.

Warm and comfortable accommodation with good facilities.. In addition, it is conveniently located within a 10 minute walk to the centre of Keswick. Garage available for bike storage.

A spacious, well equipped, comfortable cottage in a very quiet area but only 10 minutes walk from the town centre..

It would be nice if there was a clothes line with peg for people to hang their washing out.. A cheese slice few utensils missing. Information on how to use the oven as this was electric and not everyone has an electric oven. Broom to sweep kitchen floor. A few cleaning supply’s for the kitchen to maintain the cleanliness. It would be nice to have enough dish washer tablets for one use of the machine per day of your stay. Therefore if your staying for 7 night 7 tablets would be nice as this would keep the cutlery cleaner.

A fabulous, well-equipped bungalow in a quiet residential area of Keswick. It's located about a 10 minute walk from Market Square and maybe another 5 - 10 minutes from Derwentwater.Fitz Park is also about 10 minutes away. 1 15 minute walk gets you to Booths Supermarket and the Co-op. Absolutely no complaints about the property, location, equipment or comfort. There is a garage which is down a slope. When I tried to go down the drive, something scraped underneath; so I left teh car on the road. It's a cul-de-sac so no through traffic. One benefit of this was that my wife's mobility scooter could be housed in the garage and I didn't need to move the car to get it out :-) Highly recommended

The comfort rating is influenced by the fact that I found the double mattress very soft and I suffered with back and neck pain.. The sofas in the lounge were also uncomfortable for those in our party (similar age and build).

Fabulous bungalow, clean, contemporary and well equipped.. We particularly liked being able to park on the drive, a rare thing for Keswick! The 40 inch TV was very much appreciated for the World Cup football. Great walks nearby and just a few minutes walk into Keswick centre Very peaceful. Lovely.

Overall a great experience and nice and quiet.. But lack of instructions in several areas: - not enough for heating, and none for dustbin collection. A few more commodities in the kitchen would be good, i.e. measuring jug and breadbin.

Details given about the bungalow were accurate and we were not disappointed when we arrived.. Everything we wanted from a holiday home was there. Nice surprise to have a smart tv. Would go there again.

The bungalow is in an ideal quiet location with easy access to the town facilities and Derwentwater.. It is very comfortable and well equipped and we hope to stay there again.

The only negative was that the back garden is in need of some TLC..
