1 Woods Garth is a semi-detached red brick built barn conversion situated in the quiet Wolds village of Wetwang, six miles from Driffield. This cottage sleeps four people in two bedrooms, consisting of one double and one twin, as well as a bathroom. The cottage also has a kitchen with dining area and a sitting room with electric fire. Outside there is off road parking for two cars and an enclosed front gravelled garden with furniture. 1 Woods Garth is an ideal holiday home for a couple or small family with market towns, stately homes and sandy beaches all within driving distance. Note there is no electric car charge facility at the property and therefore it is not permitted.

Area
Wetwang is a small village in the Yorkshire Wolds, near to the market town of Driffield. The village boasts a mix of old cottages and newer properties, a pub and a fish and chip shop. Driffield provides a weekly market, shops, tea rooms and restaurants and the minster town of Beverley is within driving distance.

Region
The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.

A fabulous cottage, very clean and had everything we possibly could have needed.. The kitchen and bathroom were both very modern and the rest of the cottage had a lovely homely feeling. It was in a great spot, central to places like Bridlington, Flamingoland, Helmsley and York. We had a great time and agreed it was probably the nicest cottage we'd stayed in. We're looking forward to booking again in the near future.

Lovely, cosy, well equipped cottage in a quiet little close with friendly neighbours.. Located in a tiny village with nothing but two pubs and a fish and chip shop (which must be popular as there were queues outside everyday). Centrally located and an ideal base for exploring various places in Yorkshire.

1 Woods Garth is an excellent cottage in a peaceful village location.. The cottage is well equipped and very comfortable and the owners are both friendly and helpful. The area is perfect for walking, cycling and generally exploring with lots to see and do. We particularly enjoyed spending the day at Sledmere House, seeing all the seabirds at Bempton Cliffs and visiting the beach and lighthouse Flamborough Head. Its a great cottage in a lovely area and we are looking forward to visiting the Yorkshire Wolds again in the future.

Peaceful location but excellent for visiting York, coastal resorts and the many heritage sites in this area.. The cottage was cosy, comfortable, spotlessly clean, tastefully furnished and thoughtfully well-equipped. An absolute gem!

The cottage was genuinely perfect.. The attention to detail is was most impressive, there was every kitchen utensil you could want, more than ample storage and lots of extras such as games, books, OS maps, dvd’s and CDs. Another bonus was that both local pubs were very welcoming and both are within a short walking distance.

Charming cottage with everything you need.. Beautifully maintained & decorated a credit to the owners. Bearing no reflection on the cottage I think Sykes Cottages should point out that there isn't any public transport in Wetwang, if you wish to explore the surrounding towns you really do need transport.

The Cottage was very clean, comfortable and well equipped.. Wetwang is ideal for exploring the Yorkshire Wolds, with plenty of good walking. The Robert Fuller Gallery at Thixendale close by is well worth a visit.

1 Woods Garth is of a very high standard with excellent furniture and decor. The kitchen is well laid out and equipped. The owner was helpful and took great care to ensure the property is of a high standard and this shows throughout the cottage with lots of little extra features and decorations. The cottage was lovely and situated in such a great spot for what we wanted to see i.e. the Deep at Hull, Eden Camp etc. Everywhere was just a few miles away. In the cottage the owners provided everything you need plus a lot more - it was a great holiday!

We fell in love with this place as soon as we opened the front door . It was clean , tastefully decorated, equipped, and furnished to a high standard. Ideally placed for trips out to York and Whiby and other Costal resorts. A little Gem.
