The cottage was well located for exploring both the small isles and the surrounding area.. When we arrived it was very clean and warm. There are spectacular views of Eigg and Rum from the living room and main bedroom. Everything was in the cottage that we needed. There are great beaches in walking distance from the cottage. Plan ahead in order to maximise time on the islands as on particular days the ferry crossings permit longer periods on the islands. We also did the walk to Tarbet and caught the ferry to Inverie - well worth it!

There is a breath-taking view of the Small Isles from the main bedroom and living room.. The house is equipped with everything we needed and the place was really comfortable, just great for our stay. The accommodation is in Morar village which is a couple of miles away from the hurly burly (such as it is!) of Mallaig.

There were many positive elements to this accomodation, such as the location, the view, clean carpets and high standard bedding.. However there were quite a few niggly complaints. The double bed was very firm and small; the toilet seat was loose; the shower head was very small; the dining table and chairs were wobbly and felt a little unsafe. Having only one frying pan was tricky when trying to cook a Scottish breakfast for 4 adults, otherwise the kitchen was fairly well stocked for self catering. Overall, considering the cost, I would consider some areas to be tired and in need of refurbishment/ upgrading.

Excellent cottage, immaculate condition.. The very best thing about the cottage was being able to sit eating my breakfast looking out across the bay at the islands in the distance, Glorious views. I hope to visit again.

Great wee cottage, that suited us fine.. Quiet location with lovely views, though only from inside the house, due to growing vegetation around. Well equipped and comfortable and would certainly recommend.
