I don’t normally write reviews, but this place defiantly deserved one. Amazing holiday from start to finish..the views from the hottub were like no other. The whole barn was well equipped with everything you needed. Even a little box that you can buy things from! So thoughtful. Not much to do around the area but if you drive out you can find little beauty spots! I will 100% be coming back here, just the best place.

This was our 2nd stay at Beacon View barns, we’ve got our 3rd stay booked for next week, our 4th booked for May and our 5th booked for Christmas! It’s safe to say we love this place, it’s perfect in every way! The barns are so beautiful, well equipped and safe for our dogs. Lin and James are the most perfect hosts and go above and beyond to make your stay memorable! No amount of words can describe how amazing this place is, I want to recommend it but I’m worried that people will book all the dates and none will be left for us Can’t wait for our stay next week ❤️

Our barn was really nice, high spec and spacious.. The settees could really do with an upgrade (very uncomfortable) but apart from that everything was wonderful. The hot tub was fantastic just sitting there watching the world go by. Very remote and very quiet!! Perfect

We have just got back from a 4 night stay. The Barn was amazing and the scenery was out of this world. We arrived to a welcome pack of prosecco, flowers, eggs and treats for the dog which was a lovely gesture. Our 5 year old and 4 month old lab loved it and didn’t want to come home!! We spent hours in the hot tub and on our last morning we woke up to snow which was a fabulous ending to a lovely break away. We hope to return soon!!

Very friendly host, the accommodation was excellent and the tub one of the best I have experienced.. Very quiet ideal for a relaxing few days with lovely views of the surrounding hills, free view of TV so no sky. A DVD player is provided to plug the gap. But bring your own DVDs. Will probably go again.

This place was absolutely perfect! The location is ideal if you really want to get away from it all. The barn is tastefully decorated and extremely well equipped. The only thing we could not find whilst there was a hair dryer so make sure to bring your own. The owners were very helpful in supplying us with more eggs on our stay and the welcome hamper was a really nice touch. The hot tub was the icing on the cake and we still managed a dip despite the dreadful weather. I would highly recommend this barn and i'm sure we will be returning!

Cannot praise the place enough, all you need to bring with you is yourselves, food and cloths, literally.. The Cottage and garden were spotless, Lin, the lady who runs the places was so helpful and could not do enough for us, and what’s more she is happy to deal with anything you want or require at any time day or night. The WiFi is limited to 25Gb for seven days which is more than enough unless you want to stream video’s etc, the download speed is around 15 to 20Mbs which again is very good and more than enough, my wife and I used about 4Gb in the first week. There is no mobile signal or 3 or 4G, however WiFi Calling worked fine. The large flatscreen TV in the Living Room is a smart TV, we brought a small USB Hard Drive with Movies on which worked fine for the evenings. There is a Freeview box as well as DVD player and to top it all about 30 Movie DVD’s provided for you to watch if you wish. As far as we are concerned you could not wish for more, oh by the way the hot tub just outside the door is spot on and the garden is FULLY ENCLOSED so if you have a dog he will be well safe and not able to escape. WELL DONE LIN

Beacon View Barns are beautifully decorated and surrounded by amazing views of the countryside.. We have felt very welcome and the owners are very friendly and helpful during our stay. Our dog loved the lovely walks and his doggy treats that welcomed us as we got there. Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants a peaceful holiday enjoying the views whilst relaxing in the hot tub. Very tranquil. Everything we needed and our dog definitely enjoyed his holiday.

We had a fantastic holiday at No.1 Beacon View Barn in July. It’s in an idyllic spot, where the only noise you can hear is the occasional sheep bleating & the view is just stunning from the front of the property. The barn is beautifully decorated, with comfy seating, big wardrobes, high ceilings and a great rainfall shower. The kitchen was really well equipped (better than ours at home I think!) & the welcome basket with prosecco, eggs and dog treats was a lovely touch. The garden is safely enclosed which was great for our dog – she loved sitting on the patio staring at the sheep in the fields. Lin & James (the owners) came & introduced themselves & made sure we knew how to contact them if needed. They’re very friendly & have lots of advice about places to walk & eat which is great if you don’t know the area – there is also a good supply of maps and tourist attraction leaflets in the barn. There are some good walks you can do from the doorstep and it’s only a short drive to some nice towns & pubs. We had a great time exploring during the days, then relaxing in the hot tub sipping wine in the evenings looking at the view. We only stayed for a week but felt so relaxed and recharged by the time we headed home, we’re already starting to plan our next visit!

The location of Beacon View Barn was so tranquil and peaceful - a real get-away from it all idyll.. The property is brilliantly equipped to a very high standard - additional 'extras' of eggs, milk, flowers AND prosecco were a lovely surprise on our arrival. Lin and James were helpful and friendly owners and the guest book was full of positive comments about them and the property. Well deserved!!

We spent a lovely weekend at Beacon View Barns as a family get away. We hired the two cottages between us, each with their own hot tub and in a safe enclosed garden area. We took our dogs, who were safely enclosed in the garden and enjoyed the lovely surrounding walks. The barns themselves are stunning, all brand new and fully equipped. We arrived with the intention of staying put for the weekend. We kept our young children busy by baking in the well equipped kitchen and playing some the games provided. Upon arrival we were provided with prosecco, fresh eggs, milk, tea, coffee and fresh flowers. The hot tubs were all ready and waiting when we arrived, this was certainly a high light of our trip. We took all our food with us, but I am told that you can order tesco delivery to the barns too. It snowed quite heavily during our stay, the hosts were fab and told us to stay put in order to stay safe - as such we ended up staying a day longer than we had plans as the roads were completely impassable. We will definitely be returning, such a lovely relaxing get away!

I can gladly recommend.. We spent three nights and had a great stay here, really enjoyed. The hot-tub and the floor heating is a bonus. The surrounding area and the barn are great, with a nice view over the valley, very quiet and peaceful place, truly relaxing. The beds are comfortable, kitchen well equipped, free Wi-Fi available. The owners very nice people, and the welcome pack... we really enjoyed it.
